I know that I am not the only person who experiences it - but sometimes I feel like a magazine or a journalist or some TV show has literally read my mind. Now I know that this is because I am a (semi) normal person, who likes very mainstream things, and probably spends too much time talking about those things an analyzing them - but in general, when I see things like this, my first thought is typically "Why has [enter name of random publication] been buggin my house so that they can blatantly plagiarize what is CLEARLY a thought that only I have had??"
I usually apply this to topics like "Why don't people realize that they are being manipulated by Angelina Jolie" and "How can people forget that Angelina Jolie used to wear blood around her neck and french her brother" and "Why does everything think Jennifer Aniston is so sad? She clearly gets to slay hot, younger dudes, has a bangin' body, and doesn't have to use her children to manipulate people!!" So basically, I am Team Jen (even though that is soo 2005)- but this is all besides the point. What I am trying to say is that Self Magazine has plagiarized me. They literally have taken my concept for this blog, and put it all in one article and I am PISSED. Now I have to come with all new original content!
However, the whole spirit of "Look Better, Do Less" is that you get to do less, with the same results. And reading this article is certainly doing less than having to wait for me write posts, and reading them one by one. So, enjoy! And keep your eyes peeled for breakthrough ideas on looking better and doing less!
